The overriding purpose of the role is to identify and qualify quality leads into the business. This includes responding to incoming enquiries and proactively identifying prospects who will benefit from Springboard’s services. The role will involve a great deal of communications via telephone and email with the intention of secure introductory meetings for the sales team. You will Identify and engage with targeted, high-quality leads from all sales and marketing led initiatives.

The individual will be part of the marketing team which is led by Springboard’s Marketing & Insights Director, Diane Wehrle, and will report on a day-to-day basis into the Head of Marketing.

Job Responsibilities include:

  • Manage and qualify leads from marketing-led initiatives which include website registrations, report downloads, webinars and events. Whilst these will be warmer leads, they will still require research prior to qualification.
  • Keep on top of industry developments and independently research new high-quality leads, across multiple verticals through purchased databases, news articles, media lists etc, to add to CRM with the end goal of converting qualified leads into a viable opportunity.
  • Communicate proactively by phone, email and social channels with retail businesses, high streets and shopping centres nationwide across various sectors to identify if there is an opportunity for our services.
  • Manage pre-conference prospecting campaigns to secure meetings for the Sales team at the conference, including building out contact databases and updating CRM. Attend in person events, during which you will be the first point of contact for delegates and support marketing as requested.
  • Support Marketing & Insights Director in managing lead pipeline and securing discovery meetings with potential sales opportunities.
  • Provide weekly, monthly, and quarterly reporting on both MQL and SQL lead generation, lead conversion and campaign conversion rates. 
  • Liaise with the sales and marketing teams to utilize relevant materials, events, webinars, email marketing to support lead generation activity.


Skills Required

  • Minimum of 4 years experience in pre-sales or business development
