Why would my monthly figures be significantly higher one month, when compared to the previous

Following the BRC calendar rather than Gregorian, there is either 4 full weeks or 5 within a month. Our figures are worked out using weekly averages. Click here to view the calendar.

How are my estimated figures calculated?

Figures are estimated using an algorithm based on your historical data and the benchmark performance of your location and similar locations.

How do I add in events that may affect visitor numbers or sales?

Navigate to the ‘ANALYSER’ tab and click on ‘CALENDAR’ at the top of the screen. Click on a date, select the event type, the event site, the start date, the end date and enter any additional comments for the event.

How do I compare the sales from two events?

Navigate to the ‘ANALYSER’ tab at the top of the screen and click on ‘EVENT COMPARE’. This section allows you to input two date ranges into the boxes near the top to compare events.

How do I print off our figures?

Use the data export tab to download your figures either to pdf or excel. Not only can you print off sales and footfall data but you can also print from the ‘EVENT COMPARE’ page

How do I submit a Turnover Certificate?

Retailers who are unable to provide daily sales data but are lease obliged or able to only provide turnover certificates can have data inputted via the turnover screen, found on the ‘PERFORM’ tab. Click the dropdown menu under ‘VIEW’ and select ‘T/O’ which will display all the centres that you have access to. Select the desired centre and complete the fields, just make sure to click the orange ‘UPDATE’ button when you’ve finished.

When inputting my sales figures the box turns pink and I can’t continue. What do I do?

If the sales box turns pink it is an indication that your figures have fallen out of our tolerance guidelines. All it means is the figures need to be double-checked and a description needs to be written in the comment box below. You will then be able to submit the sales figures.

How do I add in Centre News?

The ‘ADMIN’ tab allows you to enter any centre news, which appear in the retailer reports for Perform clients. Click on the ‘CENTRE NEWS’ button at the top right of the screen and click ‘CREATE’ next to the centre name, input the news into the text box and click ‘SAVE’. Once you have saved, you are still able to edit any comments inputted by clicking edit. If you wish to use the comments from the previous week you can click on ‘Copy Previous’, which automatically copies last week’s comments.  You are also able to preview the centre news to check how retailers will see it.

How do I update my weekly centre question?

Navigate to the ‘ADMIN’ tab and click on the ‘QUESTIONS’ button to update your weekly centre question for Perform clients.  The space in the column, next to the centre name, is for you to type in your weekly question. Just ensure that you click ‘UPDATE’ when you’re finished. You can also add retailer questions to be asked in future weeks by selecting a week on the drop down calendar. Follow the same steps as above to save future questions.

How are the % changes for my sales figures calculated?

Our yearly and weekly % changes are calculated on a like for like basis. We have found this to be the most accurate way to calculate the sales % changes.

Where does the weather come form?

The data on a location’s weather is provided straight from Accu Weather. This is automatically fed into our systems and is based on each reports specific location.

What if the retailer can only give a weekly figure?

We recommend inputting daily sales so that you fully understand the trends of a retailer. This is so you can compare one day against the same day last year/month/week.  If the retailer can only give a weekly figure then we can change the system to show a weekly screen.

How does the system distribute the weekly figure?

The system divides the weekly figure by the trend of the centre sales for that week.

My retailer can only give a %, can this still be entered into the system?

Yes % can be entered into our system but we will need a one off starting figure and then a week on week % each week.

What if a retailer misses a week? (weekly %)

If the retailer has given a weekly figure and then a week in week % thereafter you must collect a % every week as you cannot generate the sales, alternatively you will need another starting figure.
