How do I view my footfall/sales data by day, week or month?

Navigate to ‘ANALYSER’ tab at the top of the screen. An orange dot denotes data available. You can view a specific day’s data by clicking on an orange dot, a month’s data by clicking on the month name, or a week’s data by selecting the week number.

      What calendar does Springboard follow?

Springboard’s calendar follows the British Retail Consortium (BRC) calendar, which creates full weeks of either Sunday to Saturday or Monday to Sunday and each month contains full weeks. These fall into a monthly pattern of 4 weeks, 4 weeks, 5 weeks. Click here to view the calendar.

Why would my monthly figures be significantly higher one month, when compared to the previous?

Following the BRC calendar rather than Gregorian, there is either 4 full weeks or 5 within a month. Our figures are worked out using weekly averages. Click here to view the calendar.

How are my estimated figures calculated?

Figures are estimated using an algorithm based on your historical data and the benchmark performance of your location and similar locations.

How do I add in events that may affect visitor numbers or sales?

Navigate to the ‘ANALYSER’ tab and click on ‘CALENDAR’ at the top of the screen. Click on a date, select the event type, the event site, the start date, the end date and enter any additional comments for the event.

How do I compare the sales from two events?

Navigate to the ‘ANALYSER’ tab at the top of the screen and click on ‘EVENT COMPARE’. This section allows you to input two date ranges into the boxes near the top to compare events.

How do I print off our figures?

Use the data export tab to download your figures either to pdf or excel. Not only can you print off sales and footfall data but you can also print from the ‘EVENT COMPARE’ page.

How do I add in Centre News?

The ‘ADMIN’ tab allows you to enter any centre news, which appear in the retailer reports for Perform clients. Click on the ‘CENTRE NEWS’ button at the top right of the screen and click ‘CREATE’ next to the centre name, input the news into the text box and click ‘SAVE’. Once you have saved, you are still able to edit any comments inputted by clicking edit. If you wish to use the comments from the previous week you can click on ‘Copy Previous’, which automatically copies last week’s comments.  You are also able to preview the centre news to check how retailers will see it.

How are the % changes for my footfall figures calculated?

Our yearly, monthly and weekly % changes are calculated using weekly averages and not the monthly totals. We have found this to be the most accurate way to calculate the % changes.

Where does the weather come from?

The data on a location’s weather is provided straight from Accu Weather. This is automatically fed into our systems and is based on each reports specific location.
