Midsummer Place, Milton Keynes, awards 5 year contract for customer counting to Springboard
Springboard - using its latest generation i-site™ technology - has been awarded a five year contract to provide customer counting throughout Midsummer Place Shopping Centre in Milton Keynes.
Midsummer Place, Milton Keynes Owned by USS and managed by Jones Lang LaSalle, one of the reasons Midsummer Place chose Springboard as it was able to upgrade its old camera based service to the latest technology by utilising existing cameras. With no change in hardware being required, this provided a cost effective and highly accurate solution that was fully operational within a matter of weeks, and where data is uploaded automatically to the internet on a daily basis.
Another key reason why Midsummer Place chose Springboard is the fact that all data is made available through the internet. Midsummer Place has its own confidential login which is used to access the information from the Springboard website at www.spring-board.info. Reports are provided by day, hour and entrance enabling centre management to accurately monitor the centre's performance. Recently the centre identified a 40% increase in customer numbers on a single day through its entrances at Debenhams as a consequence of a "Blue Cross Day" that was held within the store.
