Springboard's customer counting services can reveal the variations in activity throughout centres.
In Great Yarmouth, activity is split between the town centre - where all the retailing is located - and the seafront which comprises the town's leisure facilities.

Great Yarmouth's two prime retail areas - Regent Road and King Street (points 3 and 8) - achieve a higher count than any other location in the town including the seafront.
The pattern of activity throughout the week varies between the town centre and the seafront. The town centre is busier than the seafront generally, and its peak day is Saturday and its least busy day is Sunday. This is a pattern that is very common in town centres.
In contrast, by far the busiest day on the seafront is Sunday, followed by Saturday. The seafront attracts very few visitors during the week.
