Springboard's customer counting services can identify the numbers of customers attracted to a centre during an event or through promotional activity.
Debenhams in Midsummer Place in Milton Keynes held a one day sale on Thursday 13 May 2004, and customer numbers increased significantly on that particular day. It led to:
  • Automatic Visitor Counting for Debenhams in Midsummer Place Milton Keynes An 60% increase in the total number of customers in the centre on that day from 30,672 on the same day in the previous week to 49,125 on 13 May
  • Springboard Headcount Systems Report for Debenhams in Midsummer Place Milton Keynes The number of customers entering the centre through the two Debenhams entrances more than doubled from 6,000 on the same day in the previous week to 14,800 on 13 May
  • A significant increase in the number of customers visiting the centre after 5pm. On the same day in both the previous and the subsequent weeks, the counts peaked at 1pm with around 4,000 people.
